Dong-Wan Seo, MD, PhD Chairman, IPBM2026
Warm greetings from Seoul!
On behalf of the organizing committee of the International Pancreatobiliary Meeting (IPBM), it is our great privilege to welcome you to IPBM 2026, which will be held from April 3 to 4, 2026, at the Grand Walkerhill Hotel, Seoul, during Korea’s spectacular spring cherry blossom season.
Building on the success of last year, IPBM continues to grow as a premier global platform for advancing the field of pancreatobiliary medicine. This year, we are pleased to once again present the Asia-Pacific Joint Symposium in collaboration with the Japan Biliary Association (JBA), Taiwan Interventional Pancreatobiliary Endoscopy Society (TIPES), and Thai Association for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (TAGE). We are also deeply honored to welcome the World Endoscopy Organization (WEO) for a Joint Symposium, our reach to distinguished experts from Europe and the Americas.
Our two-day scientific program will feature keynote lectures by world-renowned experts, cutting-edge symposia, live demonstrations of advanced procedures, immersive hands-on training, multidisciplinary discussions, and Free Paper presentations. Special sessions for young doctors, nursing professionals, and cross-disciplinary teams will further enrich the program, fostering clinical excellence and dynamic knowledge exchange.
Beyond academic excellence, IPBM is a place where ideas evolve into collaborations and professional relationships grow into lasting partnerships. We encourage you to actively engage, share your expertise, and be part of our vibrant international community dedicated to improving patient outcomes worldwide.
We look forward to welcoming you to Seoul next spring for an inspiring, productive, and memorable IPBM 2026.
With warm regards,
Dong-Wan Seo, MD, PhD Chairman, IPBM2026
